Where I Belong?

6th Aug Monday:

Today was as usual lessons, nothing interesting for me to say. Although after school around 3 there was a Observatory Rehearsal. Clement and I went up to meet up with the rest, and found out that there were others late, next time, we shan't rush, or i shouldn't, cos clement wasn't rushing either.

Oh, had to see Danial's blog for more ideas.

And yes, its Clement's birthday, but i din't know beforehand and had no gift(oops!) but don't worry clement, I'll get you two next year. Remember that! It will be super belated.

And it was SS and Eng CAs, think i might have did myself some justice despite lack of practice. But anyway, moving on.

7th Aug Tuesday:

Had a short PLC with Changda on Sat's meeting before going for a mini songs rehearsal around 4 with Changda, Yangen, Danial, Linus, Glen, other sec 3s, and the prefects.

In the end it turned out so casual, with Mdm Farrah, Ms Tan and Mr Khoo only and we were just standing or sitting around singing. But truly a damn fun experience, just singing away with friends even though its national day.

Established World Smiley Day today. It shall be on the 7th of every month, watch out people! I was out and about during recess, drawing smileys on Monitors first then after recess it was my class. Glad to say almost 2/3 of the class gladly accepted a smiley! =)

8th Aug Wednesday:

Today was damn siao for me. In the morning clement and I had to head upstairs to prepare for National Day Observatory. Ensuring our path was not blocked by brainless goons who loved to be kicked, we were on our way to standing at the sides watching the flag go up and surprisingly, Azri's idea of saluting at the

da da da da da da da DA. Go figure.

worked. And then it was the ever-so-long message by Tharman, before 7 of us had to chiong down and change to redshirts to sing in the hall.

We went to collect our flags first, i had like 5 or 6, till some people started 'cop'ing, and Me and Clement lost 3 in total, left at the spot beside the stairs. The 'butter' sweets inside the flag!!! Sobs. =( Before saying more i better go up and make this a step more interesting, sounds so boring. Lol. Ok carry on. :)

Really having fun singing ourselves while looking at 1000 over heads NOT singing at all. Thanks to those who have sang at least one line of any song. Then every song we had different tricks up our sleeve to entertain the school, like for 'Will You' we were running like 'siao gena's all over the place.

During the whole thing we got to hear bits of teachers' voices. Ms Sharma's one was drowned. And a destroyed spelling cheer by RETARDS who have no sense of 'mechanics of forces' instead of sound. They might have catched a teenie little bit about sound, but absolute-zero on forces. Either that, or in the slightly worst sounding way, they were born without brains.

After that we were stationed at the 3 games area, but i was with Changda for some gate duty and Danial to slack in the MC Room. Then had to meet Ms Tang and Mr Ee for feedport, now we have some amendments to make. =( But had some added info on Minjoot.

He's on Reservice this week!!! =)

Then had to go for Convention Meeting at PSB Room, apparently our room was unpresentable. *coughs*danial*coughs*

We have our theme and jobscopes and tasks outlined.

And after was my lunch outside with bodyguards, Changda and Danial, Katong Mall cos Danial wanted a disc which was out of stock, or was it? Jap Fever, sigh.

And realised that the Sec 3 scouts were at Parkway buying stuff for campfire, which turned out to be idunnowat. Went back for PLC with Changda and ensured that the week's tasks was almost done.

Before going back to MC Room for Worms with Changda and Danial once he had woken up. Making nonsense terrains and killing school population was damn fun. Just a minor hint, we killed worms like Island, Curtain and Potato Sack.

Then dinner at Burger King after some 'tough' discussions. Had a BK Fish set and met this trainee.

[Trainee] 'Hi.. erm... what.. what would you... like... to order?'

I ordered one BK Fish set, Drinks and Fries upsized.

[Trainee] 'One BK Fish Set, KING SIZE.'
[Changda] Did he just say King Size?

*sniffles*

[Trainee] That will be $ 13.10.

!!!

I told him i had only ordered one set.

[Trainee] HUH? *pause* But you said two just now.

Explaining that i said one, he was lost. But being nice victorians, and luckily Changda wanted the same meal, we told him its okay and we'll take the sets. Then Danial wanted a Sundae Pie with a meal to save 30 cents, so he asked.

[Trainee] *no idea whatsoever as how to add an item*

Poor manager and the other guy beside him.

[Trainee] Would, Would you like, like, any sauce?

Chilli.

And that was not the end. Danial went to get more chilli sauce and onion rings later.

The trainee had gotten the onion rings from the cooks. Then poured them out and filled the packet with fries. With danial and the cook staring at him, he remembered that Danial ordered ONION RINGS, round crispy things, not long rectangular FRIES.

Also met Xian Yi and Adriel there. Then we went back to school. The whole time at school was damn fun. First i scared Changda on our way waling back, smsing Danial in advance. Then the whole time was just scaring him, toilet, Room, or just anywhere.

Went back home to sleep. zZz.

9th August Thursday:

Went out to watch Rush Hour 3 with family at Great World City after morning tuition. Haven't been there for ages. Breakfast at Toastbox, Lunch at iforgotwhere. Then saw Hanren and Steven but both of them didn't see me. Lol.

Today 10th August, and my reflections before going off to tuition.

Why we call ourselves Singaporeans, remain Singaporeans? (For those who do)

It's because of one powerful relationship -- Friendship.

Why?

Friends is the main reason why Singaporeans stay Singaporeans. Your family don't give you that feeling to stay here. Neither does your love. Imagine that they had wanted to migrate, and you have no choice but to follow, leaving all your dearest friends here.

And since the olden days, people have made friends, establish their families with their children being friends and it passes on. We stay here because of our friends stay here, thats why the government also encourages Racial Harmony isn't it? Making friends with other cultures keeps the whole nation here. Not everyone desire to live abroad, and those who do usually do not place friendship above in their lives.

We stay here because our friends stay here. Our friends stay here because we stay here. We all stay here becuase we all stay here.
