Chinese New Year is no longer a traditional fad we love because of its 'appreciation of culture'; it is a time where teenagers simply have fun because of the AWESOME four (and a half) days worth of break from the mundane boring hated disgusting and all school life.

Friends do perk it up though.

Weds:

Went to school for celebration which will only last till 10.30am. Actually almost every other school practises it so there's not much excitement here.

Came in a 'horrifying' red polo and Doraemon JEANS! I'm officially loving the doraemon stuff. Its great with a hint of childishness.

Who has nice red(w/o black stripes duh) tops in the first place?

Assembly was usual, and after that MC had to go our rounds of 'delivering' forms and stuff while i had to listen to 'MIMI' (as weng calls him) to get five volunteers (strong ones =)) to do stuff. I assumed it was gifts you know.

Turns out it was to carry old coms and stuff in the library. -.-"

Then went back to class and Ms Tan came in with POTC: COTBP movie for us to watch. It was retarded and lame, but enjoyed some of it.

Moved the class down at 8.45 and settled in the hall.

Had to help Shyamira with Voting stuff along with Danial, Clement, Wei Loong, Sidney, and an unwilling Yunnie.

Missed quite a lot of celebration stuff though at the start.

There was the boring CLDDS play which we were TRYING VERY HARD to guess the PLOT, ending with a conclusion that there was none.

The performances were so-so only, until the Campus Superstar people came~! Agnes, Keely and Guo Hao(obviously he sucked).

Our school AV SYSTEM sucks really, despite our awesome AV CLUB's efforts. =)

Anyway after that was nothing much already.

The winners were Talent Hole(Clifford/Bobo's group), Timothy and Junyang's group and the first Sec 1 solo.

Swissroll didn't win but IT'S OKAY!

Went out with XQ, Jason, Jun Cong and Nicholas after that. Supposed to go to MBS but Yong Hao told us the place was closed already. They end school at 9.30~

So changed of plans and headed to Bugis to meet Yong Hao and Jian Feng.

Apparently Nicholas is terrible at remembering places, so we made him lead us to Kinokuniya but ended up giving up and going there anyway.

Pretended to find Yong Hao, he's only 158 or something, lol. Jun Cong's PSP was 'caught' at the entrance beeping thing. Jian Feng was a t the language section, but he realised I was there before I even scared him. Boo.

Could not decided what to eat.

First we wanted Seoul but Yong Hao only had 8 plus dollars and Sakae was closed I think. Wanted to go Food Junction before I suggested n.y.d.c. Which had really good stuff i thought.

Ordered the Oven-baked specialties with Lunch Set.

1 Chicken in a blanket ($7.90~ Guess Who bought it? HAHA.)

The tomato soup was weird. But the penne pasta was good. The cheese was like plentiful.

We took a picture with the stuff toys there. Saw Cookie Monster, Eeyore and Elmo.

Eeyore was blocked by the 'Nick *heart* Yingsi poster.

Went window shopping instead of movie cos the shows were all not our liking.

Wanted to have dessert at Food Junction but we didn't want to wait for seat. Lazy, yes.

Met Yeni and her friend near Adidas store.

Tried to go to the arcade below. I was the only one in 'civilian' attire so the rest were ousted. HAHA. Who ask them don't wear 'commoner clothes'?

Had a GIANT Earthquake at Swensens. Let me recall the flavours.

Then we Skype-ed with our overseas relatives in Thailand.

Morning was with the same relatives the night before. But less angpows this year cos we didn't go to another house.

Night was watching Ah Long Pte Ltd at Tiong Bahru with one Uncle and family.

The place was literally dead. Shops were all CLOSED.

E-zone was pathetically small.

Ah Long Pte Ltd was like 2.5 stars cos originality was not there.

Met Nico and family after that.

I'm starting to have Danial's record of knowing someone everytime I go to PP, or even anywhere. =)
