Sad defies its definition.

SLI was amazing.

Rally was boring.
Pastamania was awesome.

Life is depressing.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SLI day was tiring and hectic, long forseen by our lovely psychic minds.
The morning started off with nothing, except that I had to hunt Ms Tang down to show her the GOH souvenir which I had no idea why I ended up doing.

After school was start of preparations. Although Ms Leow's out-of-this-world description and comparison between a potato and a person's face before plastic surgery managed to salvage her otherwise mundane lesson.

I'm beginning to appreciate my teachers more. After all the O's are coming.

So after that we rushed to start the rehearsals, and to my surprise the people 'free' had already ARRANGED THE CHAIRS. I DID NOT HAVE TO DO THAT! =3

Helped Tarang to paste some stickers before chionging off for the rounds.

No Chronological order:

Assignment One:
Find Ms Tang to show souvenir.

Accomplished in hall after a long long time.
Assignment Two:
Find postcards that VANISHED.
Was abandoned in PB Room by some prefect according to John.

Assignment Three:
Obtain Heritage Room Key.
Called Ms Tang to find out that Mr Maran was getting it and claimed it from Tarang.

Assignment Four:
Set up signage booth and John's atas TABLET.
Done. Alias (whateva) pad was fun.
Assignment Five:
Finish Saikang everywhere.
Obviously completed.
Assignment Six:
DEFEND THE SIGNAGE BOOTH.
Yep, except for some rude and disrespectful prefect who ruined my night.

Assignment Seven:
Find Mr Soh's picture for Mr Maran.
Yeah. Mr Maran: Normal looking chap.

Assignment Eight (Alas the last one!):
Attend SLI as a awardEE.
Totally cool.

Job well done to Ah Kok, Ah Pok, Leezhee, Reggie, Chun Yong and myself for the video. The production team don't have my face and credits for SAIKANG.

Kudos to "One with crashed laptop", Ah Rang, E.T for management of event.

Cheers for Ah Yad, Ah NeRst, Ah Seph and Ah Dy for emcees~! Not forgetting reserves Ah Son and Yunnie.

Bravo to our ever dependable AV Club! For never failing us.

Thanks to our FRag Bearers for amazing job pulled off at the end.

Now with one "sheet" off our minds, we've got a few more "sheet" to handle, including the most unstable and Tua-est "sheet".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pastamania offers 30% STUDENT DISCOUNTS from 2 to 5pm every weekday of school terms!

Means that you only pay 7BUCKS for $10 price. WOOHOO~!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rally today was really a rather terrible waste of time. Went to Fort Road early in the morning to gather with the Katong District Schools and 'march' to meeting point along ECP behind VJC.

We pretended to be on strike and rioting. HAHA.

More Pay!
More Leave!
Kill Joel!

Got there and waited for freaking dunno how long for Bedok District to reach.

The goodies?

Julie's, NeWater and Yeo's Soya Bean.

And a little card that says 'Blue Two' for me.

Group Blue, Team Two.

Finally they reach, with an opening address by Mr Patrick Tan, Area Commissioner.
Their PA system sucks. Seriously.

So we were to participate in 'games', specifically three. Some balloon warfare thing, sandcastle building and tent pitching. Well, we did win one and played two. And the point was, we weren't even trying.

So we went for sandcastle first. Given a starfish, lobster, rooster and fish mould. Along with a chungko and a pail. Didn't want to do at first but ended up doing some major city like thing. =3
Clockwise from left: Monument of the Standing Hammer, Red Pail, Entrance Tunnel, The Octagon, Mountain, Kingdom(centre), and Changda's Cannon.
Grand Scale.
Apparently Terence made a meteor strike somewhere.
Pail filling.
Then went to the field side to play this blind tentage thing which we know we obviously could win. But the equipment they gave broke within the first 2 minutes.
So when we finished(awfully long later while attempting to fix a broken magic stick), we thought it was over because everyone was like keeping (or seemed to be). Then my friend Yap Yue who was one of the overseeing scouts from Damai told us still got second place. So we hurriedly kept the thing, end up slower than some other group cos the bag almost broke.
But luckily they had extra so Yap Yue helped us get some badges. They were the same as the EVENT ones, just different colour. -.-"
We won something at least.
=3
Went back school to prepare for investiture next week. Haiz.
Tired. Night. =)
