Today's Life Talk: Appreciation & Sincerity

today's passage is totally unprepared but i shall think and type as i go along...

when was the last time you MEANT your thanx, thank you & ty??? as in not just saying out of habit like what i do or saying unwillingly...

i think mine was today... when i ask the prefects for the message at the parade square... or maybe its now... when i thank all my friends for being my friends!

THANK YOU!!!

its so major that it slowly turns minor, that appreciation from the heart and not from habit of thanking people... which im rather guilty of...

people either think its stupid or find it worthless to show that appreciation...
IN FACT, it does not have to be a thanks! by acknowledging someone's presence is the simplest, most unnoticeable appreciation for someone being that, and you can tell when that simple 'hi' or 'hello' is sincere... I had many experiences that may seem minor but im always touched by such actions...
eg. Ren An never fails to say 'hi' and 'bye' during these scenarios, even though we're not realli close and im surprised...
Jonathan said 'bye' that day from afar before boarding his parents' car..
Nicolas is the perfect symbol for sincerity and shows alot of appreciation, regardless of messages i send him or things i do... and im realli realli amazed...

these little actions seem so insignificant, but to me they're priceless... hilary duff's song 'why not' has this line:

'so i walk a little slower, and i try to catch your eye
sometimes its so hard to see, the good things passing by
there may never be a sign, no flashing neon light
telling you to make your move or when the time is right'

everyday, hours of precious moments and love is lost purely because people are so occupied with their lives that they fail to see, appreciate and cherish everything they have... its all about work, money, stress, activity... no one stops and looks out for such simple minute details...

its so sad! no one bothers anymore... at the end of the day, even if you helped alot of people in your life, you may not necessarily understand and grasped the full potential of your meaning of life because of all these distractions... tell me whether its worthwhile?

start showing appreciation WITH sincerity to those who are around and care, simply because they are around... before its too late... avril's song 'keep holding on' has this line:

'so far away, i wish you were here
before its too late this could all disappear'

never wait... never miss out these little meanings too much or live to regret it...
