Of guidance and the light at the end of the tunnel…

Sometimes the light isn’t always at the end… sometimes it is along the way, where u find bits of sparklers and torches that light ur way…

Having mentors and support from peers have lasted me till now… hoping it would last me further… thank you to those hu have given me a spark in these realli tough times… made me realize the importance of gratitude and true relationships…

Mentors:

From teachers… Mr Zuraimi, Mdm Kwok, Ms Sharma, Mdm Lyana, Ms Tan, Mr Cao and some others…

From seniors… Nicolas, the other SLs and MC Exco 2006/07…

‘Peer Support’ in that sense:

Changda, danial, david, linus, clement, weng keong, james, Kenneth and those hu have given me support like some of the JLs…

But even with all these help… I still have piles of work to complete… dun worry people… I wun let u down…

Upcoming:
Passing Over Parade
Campfire
MC events

Still Present:
Studies

Hoping:
SL
And the other which u most likely noe

Everyone’s facing the same problems now… uniform thruout the lvl…
Stress, time and work…
So happens that the ‘leader’ part of the school are completely busy while the useless bunch of the other are extremely free… but anyway, life is more fulfilling in this sense now… gathering experiences now so I wun regret while holding a walking stick or cry tears upon that wrinkled face… or worse, grow more white hair among the white hairs…

Two songs to share:
Rihanna-- Umbrella / Unfaithful

i was on the bus today... then half way this malay girl teenager sat bside me... suddenly she turned and said sorry... all i could think of was that maybe she had accidentally hit me... Then thru the ride she said sorry again 2 times...

just think about this...

such a minor matter i did not notice yet she goes that extra mile to say sorry... i would do so...

but what about the generation now? the people who are polite and born polite are facing almost immediate extinction... what has happened?

worst when it concerns the motto of the school... gentlemen, for goodness sake... show some of that victorian in u... unless ur not one...

Seeing the track and field finals come and go… I cannot be more sure than now that…

Its gone.
Theres no denying it…

The silent farewell to the Victorian Spirit….

Sad it had to happen in my time…

Seeing people hu only cheer because they have to, seeing people push the amazing spelling cheer aside… the oni consolation we can have is that the vs unite still have some lingering strength… will it last?

I had a chinese test today.. something about imprisonment… which made me think more about the topic of freedom…

People are oni truly caged when they themselves have imprisoned their hope, faith and soul… no one can close the window to ur heart… no one can make u lose faith hope and love…

Birds hu are caught from the wild may attempt to de-cage themselves at first but as the days go by and time creeps upon them, devouring their remaining inner strength away… humans hu have been restricted attempt to fight off the obstacles… but not many can persevere… it isnt that easy to say ‘I will survive’ when u have chains to ur feet and a body devoid of energy…

Then there are those hu arent restricted, but have shut the doors to their hearts, for fear of being exploited or descovered… im sure I noe a few, some partially closed, some locked forever… some as open as the wide seas…

Some hold up masks infront of their hearts… some hold a mirror to the visitors… some hurt those hu dare approach…

Dun imprison ur heart… shield it, not restrict it… protect it, not grounding it…

After all… why wud u wan to locked urself in a room filled by urself… I wun… Im monophobic…

Loneliness just doesn’t go well with Shervin…
