The air was filled with anxiety and stress; there was only one go.
Some repeatedly sought refuge in the restroom, many stared at their slips of papers in despair, others found comfort in their chewy sweets and sweetened drinks.
He was the second to go.
The ten minutes had begun. Trembling beneath the table, he tried many times to soothe the throbbing tension. Nervousness clung tightly onto every word he muttered.
Ten minutes were up.

Overall performance and consistent work are far more important than glib tongues and superficial appearances.

He uttered a sincere 'Thank You', and headed to the holding area, face gleaming with satisfaction.
He didn't like the male examiner. He didn't finish speaking.
But it didn't matter.
After all, he was certain that he had just aced his English Oral Examinations.
He was pleased.
