Traffic Control.

The traffic conductor stood in the centre of a four-way junction. Her name tag gleamed under the hot sun: Destiny.

She waved her hands and directed the cars smoothly. Everyone obeyed her signals.

But of course.

If you chose not to heed her advice, you would most probably crash into something.

There are risks in speeding ahead. Maybe you get to the destination early, maybe you get the prize before someone else does.

Do we follow her instructions and drive safely to our destination? Or do we gamble and hope for the best?

Sometimes people refuse to move. Not moving on, you slow everyone else behind you down. Not moving on, someone who is desperate to cross may just knock your car out of the way.

In any case, danger is involved.

You can try your best to follow her guidance, but someone else may come along and screw up your life as well.
